ECHOES OF NEO REY: SCREAMER UNVEILS ITS OPENING GAMEPLAY

Milestone unveiled a brand-new trailer for Screamer, the futuristic, story-driven arcade racing game set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 26, 2026, with Early Access opening on March 23.

Kicking off with the song Survive by J-Pop band WAGAMAMARAKIA, the video sets the stage for the game’s opening hours, showcasing a high-octane blend of JRPG-inspired storytelling, cinematic cutscenes, and spectacular gameplay sequences. Narrative sequences highlight how each team has its own backstory and reasons for entering The Tournament, the biggest illegal street racing event ever. It quickly becomes clear that the billion-dollar prize offered by the enigmatic Mr. A is just one piece of the puzzle driving Screamers to risk it all on the streets of Neo Rey. This diversity extends to the cars themselves, each boasting distinct handling and unique abilities that reflect their driver’s personality and style.

Through lively, character-driven dialogue featuring international actors, players will begin to explore the interpersonal dynamics within each team while mastering the game’s core mechanics with early tutorials. Initial events guide players through the Twin Stick system, giving full control over every vehicle, alongside the Echo System, the unique technology that powers both offensive and defensive actions and makes Screamers’ cars truly immortal.

These opening sequences deliver an engaging mix of narrative and action, preparing players to dive into the full depth of the gameplay as the story unfolds, gradually introducing special events such as the Team Races, where crossing the finish line first won’t guarantee victory.

Set to launch on March 26, 2026Screamer will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
