Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing Deliver Us From Evil on Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital with UltraViolet™ from December 11, 2014.
From the horror masterminds behind Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, comes the heart-stopping, paranormal thriller, Deliver Us From Evil. Inspired by ex-NYPD Sergeant Ralph Sarchie’s bone-chilling autobiography Beware the Night, the film explores Sarchie’s disturbing career as a police officer turned demonologist. Lead by Australian actor Eric Bana (Star Trek, Hulk), the ensemble cast also includes Golden Globe® nominee Édgar Ramírez (Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series – Carlos), Olivia Munn (Magic Mike, Iron Man 2) and Joel McHale (Community, Ted).
In Deliver Us From Evil, New York police officer and family man Ralph Sarchie (Bana) struggles with his own personal demons, whilst investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. Discovering the occurrences are occult related, he joins forces with an unconventional Catholic priest (Ramirez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorising the city.
