Summary: If you already have the original graphic novel you will not need to read this. It seems to be aimed at people who have come to Deadpool recently and want to go back and see the original storyline.

Cool

Deadpool’s first graphic novel is now serialised in comics form with the story going back right to his origins with Thumper ambushing Deadpool on a job and then the story jumping back to years before that for more detail.

While this is not for people who already own the original graphic novel, it seems more for people who have come to this character from the MCU and want to know more about him without having to shell out for the entire graphic novel. There are quite a few Deadpool stories these days so you have quite a number of stories.

I did enjoy the old-school style artwork and the more straight-forward storytelling in this one. Also that you don’t need to know anything that went on before as this is the very start of Deadpool’s story so there is no pre-reading required.

Worth a look if you are a fan of Deadpool and want to see his origin story.
