DC AND JOE HILL GIVE FANS AN EARLY TASTE OF FEAR AND TERROR WITH A HILL HOUSE COMICS SAMPLER

Best-selling author Joe Hill (NOS4A2, Locke & Key) and DC are full speed ahead on launching the first wave of titles from Hill’s curated Hill House Comics imprint and fans will get their first look at the stories making up this bone-chilling lineup in a new online sampler released today. The sampler includes excerpts from the launch titles BASKETFUL OF HEADS, written by Joe Hill with art by Leomacs, as well as THE DOLLHOUSE FACTORY, by Mike Carey and Peter Gross, plus THE LOW, LOW WOODS, written by Carmen Maria Machado with art by Dani.

The sampler also includes previews of two titles scheduled for 2020 – January’s DAPHNE BYRNE, written by Laura Marks with art by legendary artist Kelley Jones and PLUNGE, a six-issue limited series written by Hill and scheduled for February. Readers will also get their first look at SEA DOGS, also written by Joe Hill with art by Dan McDaid. SEA DOGS is an old-school serialized pulp strip that will appear in every issue of Hill House Comics and takes place on the high seas where a fledgling American government uses werewolves in its fight to gain independence from the British.

Get a head start on Halloween by checking out this sampler online here. BASKETFUL OF HEADS #1 debuts October 30, followed by THE DOLLHOUSE FAMILY #1 on November 13 and THE LOW, LOW WOODS on December 18. DAPHNE BYRNE #1 hits retailers on January 8, 2020 and PLUNGE #1 arrives February 19, 2020.
