DARK HORSE BOOKS, 2K, AND GEARBOX SOFTWARE PRESENT “THE ART OF BORDERLANDS 4”
This September, Borderlands 4 will launch with intense action, badass Vault Hunters, and billions of wild and deadly weapons. Fans will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the mayhem-fueled game in The Art of Borderlands 4! The Art of Borderlands 4 is written by Rick Barba (The Art of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, The Worlds of Borderlands) and will be available in comic shops and bookstores in the fall of 2025.
In Borderlands 4, 2K and Gearbox Software’s next entry in the iconic looter shooter franchise, the cataclysmic arrival of Pandora’s moon throws the planet Kairos into chaos, and only the Vault Hunters and their allies will be able to stop the oppressive Timekeeper. The Art of Borderlands 4 takes a deep dive into the making of the game, with art showcasing how character designs, enemies, environments, and of course, guns were conceptualized and ultimately brought to life.
The Art of Borderlands 4 (224 pages, hardcover, 9” x 12”) will be available in bookstores and comic shops on September 30 and October 1, 2025 for $54.99.
