Leading smartphone company, OPPO, has today announced its newest addition to its A Series – the A76. Retailing for $349, the latest smartphone brings together style, cutting-edge performance and enhanced battery life, with SUPERVOOC 33W.

Stylish design that stands out from the crowd
Boasting OPPO’s proprietary Glow Design, users will get a visually stunning, sleek and durable smartphone that is smooth to the touch, and fingerprint, scratch and dirt resistant. Available in Glowing Blue or Glowing Black, the A76 comes in new brighter, textured colour options.
The A76 features a 6.56-inch HD display that has a remarkable 89.9% screen-to-body ratio. To offer a truly immersive viewing experience when watching videos and playing games, the OPPO A76’s screen has undergone a major upgrade for improved fluidity of onscreen interactions and gameplay, with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Users are now able to enjoy a better experience with the fingerprint sensor sitting on the side of the phone.
Cutting-edge performance for an unparalleled user experience
The A76 is the first A series device to be equipped with OPPO’s SUPERVOOC fast charging technology, allowing users to stay connected wherever they are. A 5-minute charge to its 5000 mAh battery allows for over 3.5 hours talk time. Having made great strides in battery performance, the A76 comes with features such as Super Power Saving Mode, Super Nighttime Standby and Optimised Night Charging, ensuring a long-lasting and user experience.
Powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 680, users are given the versatility and power for extended gaming and multimedia performance. The A76 offers 4GB + 128GB and allows microSD storage expansion up to 1TB. It also supports the RAM Expansion feature, which helps alleviate performance bottlenecks for memory-limited devices.
Advanced imaging features enhances portrait photography
Featuring a premium dual camera module layout, the OPPO A76 carries an 8MP front-facing camera with a pixel size of 1.12um and an aperture of f2.0, producing gorgeous portrait shots up to 3264 x 2448 resolution. Various features have also been implemented to improve the quality of portrait shots taken on the A76, including the 360° Fill Light, AI natural retouching, and High Dynamic Range. After an upgrade, the AI natural retouching – a beautification technology and feature typically only present in the Reno series – now includes blemish removal for the front camera while preserving the user’s natural facial features. Portrait shots are now brighter and clearer in dim environments with the help of the 360° Fill Light feature, while beauty effects are superimposed on top.
The rear dual camera setup features a 13MP f2.2 main sensor on top and a 2MP secondary bokeh camera on the bottom, enabling users to leverage Portrait Mode for stunning shallow depth-of-field shots where the bokeh looks more precise and natural, while the blurred edge processing adds more authentic detail. The camera also supports 6x digital zoom and up to 20 continuous burst shots. An AI Palette is included as an after-effect editing feature, where users can discover many different colouring settings and easily create Instagram-worthy photos. Both front and rear cameras support HDR, which preserves details even under backlit shooting scenarios.
