Creative Pebble Nova Review

Creative Pebble Nova Review Andrew Bistak
Score

Summary: The Creative Pebble Nova provides both aesthetics and audio performance

4.5

Aesthetical audio

The Creative Pebble Nova is the latest model in the Pebble lineup and is a genuine upgrade in both design and performance. Each speaker is a smooth, spherical unit angled at 45 degrees so that the audio fires directly towards the listener, and it is available in either white with bronze accents or black (reviewed).

If you own the previous model, the new Nova is noticeably larger than earlier Pebble speakers, giving them more presence on a desk or TV unit. Additionally, the build is sturdy with a satisfying weight that reflects the upgraded hardware inside. Aesthetically, they look fantastic with their futuristic and luxurious design that will definitely not look out of place.

Unboxing

The first thing I noticed about the Pebble Nova was the build quality. They feel very sturdy, and you have the option of mounting them on either the stand base itself or slightly raised with the metal dowels.

Setup is straightforward: connect the speakers together and the powered speaker to the mains via the included USB‑C cable. From there, you have a handful of connectivity options including Bluetooth, USB‑C or AUX, and basic playback controls are built right into the speakers. The Creative app adds deeper customization, letting you tweak EQ settings, switch between sound profiles and adjust the RGB lighting. It’s easy to tailor the sound and lighting to whatever you’re doing — working, listening to music for inspiration or gaming.

Performance is where the Pebble Nova really shines thanks to its 100W peak power and 50W RMS, with the coaxial drivers delivering crisp highs, clean mids and surprisingly full bass for desktop speakers. The angled shape helps create a wider soundstage than expected, making music, movies and games feel more immersive. The bass has impact without overwhelming vocals, keeping everything balanced.

Whether I was watching the latest season of Stranger Things, streaming music or gaming, the Pebble Nova consistently produced exceptional audio quality, including impressive volume levels. Controls are also well placed on the top of the right speaker, allowing you to switch between audio devices, pair a Bluetooth device and adjust the volume easily.

The RGB lighting adds a bit of personality without being distracting — subtle for work setups or more colourful when you want it. Combined with the spherical shape, the Pebble Nova has a modern look that stands out without feeling gimmicky.

Because the Pebble Nova is mains‑powered, there’s no battery to worry about. Instead, the focus is on stable connectivity and flexibility, so whether you’re streaming wirelessly or plugging into a PC or laptop, the experience is smooth and reliable.

Final Thoughts

In Australia, the Pebble Nova retails for an RRP of $499AUD (December 2025), placing it at the higher end of desktop speakers. However, the mix of design, sound quality and customization makes it an excellent option for anyone wanting to upgrade their setup while also adding impressive aesthetics to any desktop, workspace or living room — particularly with its RGB lighting.
