Chery previews all-new Tiggo V – a new kind of SUV

Chery today shares a preview of its next-generation family SUV, the all-new TIGGO V, ahead of its global debut at Beijing International Automotive Experience on April 24.

Developed as a core global model, TIGGO V signals a new direction for the brand – one focused on delivering greater flexibility and real-world usability for modern families.

With local households balancing busy weekday commutes, school drop-offs, weekend road trips and outdoor lifestyles, the expectations placed on a single vehicle have never been higher. Traditional SUVs often struggle to meet these diverse needs, particularly when it comes to balancing passenger comfort, cargo capacity and versatility.

TIGGO V has been designed to address this challenge head-on.

At the centre of the new model is a transformable vehicle concept, allowing it to adapt to a wide range of use cases. Flexible seating and configurable interior space enable TIGGO V to transition between roles—whether as a practical urban SUV, a spacious long-distance tourer, a capable weekend adventure vehicle or a functional load carrier.

This multi-purpose approach is aimed at delivering a true “one vehicle for all scenarios” solution—something increasingly relevant for consumers seeking greater value and flexibility from their vehicle purchase.

In addition to its adaptable layout, TIGGO V is expected to deliver across four key areas:

  • Generous cabin space and comfort for families
  • Advanced in-car technology and connectivity
  • Capability across a variety of road conditions
  • Efficient powertrain performance

Full details will be confirmed following the vehicle’s global reveal.

TIGGO V represents Chery’s latest step in evolving its SUV line-up, with a stronger focus on versatility, innovation and meeting the changing needs of family buyers.
