CES 2020: Eve introduces Eve Cam with HomeKit Secure Video and announces ship date for Eve Water Guard

Announced this morning by Eve at CES, they are launching the first-ever indoor camera that is made exclusively for the Apple HomeKit Secure Video. Any activity detected within the home, from a person or even a pet, is analysed by your home hub and sends you a notification straight to your Smartphone to ensure your data remains secure.

Users are completely in charge of how the system operates. You can control which notifications you receive, and when the camera is turned on. Additionally, the camera comes with infrared night vision, meaning it can be used around the clock once activated.

The Eve Cam will hit the Australian market in early April 2020. RRP: A$249/NZ$259.

Eve Systems have also expanded on their HomeKit accessory range with the Eve Water Guard. With a 2-metre sensing cable that serves as a full-length sensor for monitoring large areas of a room, the Water Guard will alert you even if just one drop of water leaks via audio and visual notifications on your Smartphone.

Ideal for all rooms that contain water facilities such as the bathroom or basement, the Eve Water Guard will arrive in Australia on the 7th February 2020. RRP: A$139/NZ$149.
