Celebrate The Year of the Dragon with MTGs APAC League 2024 events!

The Year of the Dragon roars into action with Magic: The Gathering’s 2024 APAC League and Lunar New Year Celebration kicking off on 10 February! The 2024 APAC League is a Standard-focused League event series, comprising four qualifier seasons and culminating in an End-of-Year Championship event in December. Players are rewarded during each season with unique and rare Dragon-themed promo cards.

Local WPN stores will ignite the festivities with Lunar New Year Celebration events between 10 February and 31 March, running Standard, Sealed, and Booster Draft events. Players who participate will receive one copy of Sarkhan Unbroken, Dragonlord’s Servant, and a 4/4 Dragon Token while stocks last.

The competition heats up when the APAC Qualifier Seasons begin, with four seasons spanning across four different set releases in 2024. Every participating player will receive a seasonal Dragon-themed Promo card, but only the top two players in each Qualifier Season event will receive an invite to the End-of-Year Championship event in December. The Qualifier seasons and their respective Promo cards are:

  • Qualifier Season 1 (Standard format)
    • Set: Outlaws of Thunder Junction. Promo: Steel Hellkite.
  • Qualifier Season 2 (Modern, Standard, Draft, or Sealed format)
