Summary: Is a good enough story and of a character I have not heard of before. Blade is not really in this one that much.

Interesting

Brielle Brooks’ school is concerned about her after she changed her hair colour and suddenly quit all her extra-curricular activities. Her mother chastises them to only call her if it is something serious but really she knows what’s up. There has always been a secret in the family and as Brielle reaches the right ages she begins to notice things turning strange. After being attacked by vamires who complain she “tastes funny” and she is suddenly super-powered while fighting them. A new student then arrives at her school who may not be all that she seems.

I hadn’t heard about Blade having any children before as he always seemed like a bit of a loner and any normal people who hung around him would not live that long.

He is not really in this story until right near the end and I am not sure how much he is going to be involved in the story apart from having a cameo in it.

This will be an interesting one to follow to see how they will do this without it becoming like Buffy the Vampire Slayer redux or even if they think people will not remember that and just do what they were going to do any way.

Worth a look if you like the Blade character and want another story based off a character from the series.
