Bloober Team and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe Partner to Bring Cronos: The New Dawn Boxed Edition to Key Markets

Bloober Team, the acclaimed horror studio behind award-winning SILENT HILL 2, has signed a distribution agreement with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe S.A.S. for the physical edition of Cronos: The New Dawn on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, part of the global Bandai Namco Holdings Inc., is one of the most iconic and influential entertainment companies in the world. Bringing many of the entertainment industry’s top franchises such as PAC-MAN, GUNDAM, TEKKEN, ACE COMBAT, DARK SOULS, and ELDEN RING, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe  has cemented its position as a global leader in innovation, creativity, and quality. With a portfolio built on critically acclaimed AAA franchises, the company brings extensive expertise in physical distribution and transmedia brand development. Under the agreement, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe will oversee the distribution, sales and marketing of the physical editions of the game across the designated regions.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a genre-blending title combining post-apocalyptic survival horror with retro-futuristic thriller elements. The narrative transports players between a ravaged future and 1980s Poland, with a particular focus on the authentic setting of Kraków’s Nowa Huta district. True to Bloober Team’s signature storytelling style—known from Layers of FearObserverThe Medium, and the SILENT HILL 2 —the game offers a deeply immersive narrative experience. 

The global release of Cronos: The New Dawn is will be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on September 5, 2025.
