On the same day, long-awaited Xbox pre-orders will open ahead of the console launch on August 20, 2025; pre-order pricing will match the promotional sale price. Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20, 2024 and received its first free DLC on December, adding an all-new combat challenge. According to official figures, the game sold 10 million copies across all platforms within its first three days. It also set the record for the highest concurrent-player peak ever achieved by a single-player title on Steam according to SteamDB.
