Beyond Blue’s #BeyondTheScreen Returns for 2025

The Australian gaming community are once again rallying to support mental health with the return of #BeyondTheScreen, a national fundraising campaign from Beyond Blue, running throughout July 2025.

Now in its second year, the campaign challenges people to take on a personal wellbeing challenge, and raise vital funds and awareness for Beyond Blue’s free 24/7 mental health support services.

Where does the fundraising go:

Every $66 raised or donated helps keep a trained Beyond Blue counsellor available 24/7 for someone in need. To encourage participation, every $66 raised gives individuals an entry into the campaign’s Custom Gaming PC Giveaway, with a high-performance PC built by Sidekick PC.

Participants can also earn rewards from our list of partners, including: LogitechRODEBandai NamcoFujifilmRunlyIlly, and more.

How to get involved:

#BeyondTheScreen encourages participants to choose a challenge that reflects their personal wellness journey – whether it’s co-op gaming with friends, starting a journal, or committing to daily walks – participants must register their commitment  on our website – www.beyondthescreen.org.au.

So why does this matter:

  • Around 5 million Australians are living with anxiety or depression.
  • Nearly 1 in 2 Australians will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime.
  • More than 750 people reach out to Beyond Blue’s support services every day.
  • Every two minutes, someone in Australia hits a low point and reaches out to Beyond Blue for support.

The challenges individuals take on through this campaign become meaningful opportunities to start conversations, build connections, raise vital funds, and remind people that support is always available.
