Bethesda Reveals Fallout 76: C.A.M.P. Revamp with New Trailer and Dev Walkthrough
In case you missed it, Bethesda Game Studios has officially released Patch 62—Fallout 76: C.A.M.P. Revamp with relaxed build rules and a re-worked Workshop UI that opens the door for even more personalised play. These updates have been long-requested by the builders of Fallout 76, aiming to inspire creativity, collaboration and deeper community interaction.
To celebrate, the team has released a brand-new trailer and developer walkthrough so fans can dive right in.
Highlights include:
- Item snapping: Items that used to require snapping are allowed to not snap. Walls can also be built beneath the floor, and upper floors can be attached to walls without the need for a staircase.
- Placement restrictions: While there are still some items that require ground placement, placement restrictions have been loosened for others, allowing builders to place them freely—Even in the air.
- Workshop 2.0: The Workshop menu has been refreshed to focus on findability and organisation. This new UI aims to make it easier for players to find the C.A.M.P. items they need.
The fun doesn’t stop there as Fallout 76 is hosting C.A.M.P. Competitions for the remainder of the year! From September 2 until September 29, players can showcase their best Rebuilding Appalachia designs, focusing on stunning exteriors from cozy cabins to sprawling landscapes.
