Belkin UltraCharge Modular Charging Dock with Qi2 25W Review
Summary: All in all, the fast wireless phone charging makes this product worth a look. It may not exactly deliver on being a 3-in-1 device, but for those who already have a smart watch puck and compatible headphones it’s a nifty device at a good price point.

The Belkin UltraCharge Modular Charging Dock with Qi2 25W is a small yet mighty dock that promises 3-in-1 charging, fast wireless charging and a travel friendly design. I spent a week with it to see if it delivered as promised.
The major component of the dock is the MagSafe smartphone charger. Belkin claims that it offers 5× faster wireless charging. As someone who has struggled with wireless charging in the past, often placing my iPhone on a wireless charging hub for up to an hour only to receive a small boost, I was curious to see if Belkin’s claim that it charges a phone up to 50% in 30 minutes was accurate. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was true. The dock charges quickly and has no problems with overheating. My iPhone 15 Plus is on the larger side of phones too, and it does not tilt the dock off balance. The dock has now become my go‑to charger when in need of a boost.
The other two components are a little more interesting. The smartwatch charger is not actually a charger at all. It is simply a holder that you can fit your existing smartwatch charger into. Now, both the box and item description do state that this is the case, but I do fear that your average consumer may be slightly disappointed to find out that their new 3‑in‑1 charger still requires use of an actual charger to work.
The setup for the smartwatch holder is intuitive. Simply pull out the charging holder, affix one of the included silicon‑fit holders to it, and then attach your smartwatch charger to it and wrap the cabling around the latch at the bottom. Once this is done, the smartwatch dock appears cable‑free. I had no problem affixing the silicon‑fit holder, and once it was set up, it all worked perfectly.
The final charging pad is supposed to be for wireless headphones. This pad I found a little more difficult to operate. It does not have a magnet in it, so your headphones won’t snap into place to indicate charging. You may have to fiddle around a bit, placing them on the dock and seeing if a charge light comes on. The headphone charger also contains the smallest compatibility list of the three, so you will need to check if your device is supported before trying to get it to work.
Design wise the dock is a delight, it is compact and doesn’t take up much desk space. It is also great for travel as it is lightweight and the parts can be folded into each other.
Final Thoughts?
All in all, the fast wireless phone charging makes this product worth a look. It may not exactly deliver on being a 3-in-1 device, but for those who already have a smart watch puck and compatible headphones it’s a nifty device at a good price point.
