Battlefield 6 Players Destroy Nearly $70B of In-Game Real Estate and Equipment
This past weekend during the Open Beta for Battlefield 6, the ultimate all-out warfare experience, players showed their receipts and collectively destroyed nearly $70 billion of equipment and real estate in the game.
With Battlefield Studios’ Destruction Receipts the more chaos players unleash on the battlefield, the bigger their receipt tally. Each receipt itemizes destruction based on real-world figures down to the dollar, providing a concrete record of every shattered wall, demolished tank, destroyed jet, and leveled building.
Starting this Thursday and throughout the weekend for the next phase of the Open Beta, players can break more stuff and unlock an exclusive “Community Destruction Skin” for the M/60 if the total reaches $1 trillion in damage. Participating is easy – players simply post a :30 destruction gameplay clip to X or Instagram by using #BF6Receipts and tagging @battlefield. Receipts are available at destruction.battlefield.com within 24 hours.
Battlefield Studios enlisted the help of Carlos Diemer, an architecture and engineering expert with more than 55 years of experience around the world (including in Cairo and Brooklyn) to assess and help calculate the real-world cost of Battlefield 6’s in-game destruction. Of course, costs vary depending on the map and corresponding location around the world.

Launching on October 10, Battlefield 6 is available on PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store).
