BAND TOGETHER AGAINST VILLAINOUS RULE IN LATEST DISNEY LORCANA TRADING CARD GAME SET, “REIGN OF JAFAR” OUT NOW
Ravensburger has today released Reign of Jafar, the eighth instalment of the wildly popular Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG) and continuation in the story from Archazia’s Island (Set 7). The newest Disney Lorcana glimmers are available now for Illumineers to collect and play across Australia and New Zealand.
This latest instalment of Disney Lorcana features Jafar from Disney’s Aladdin as the villain who now possesses the Hexwell Crown, having corrupted Archazia’s Island to his wicked will. Traps and illusions abound in Reign of Jafar, and Glimmers like Jasmine – Steady Strategist and Rapunzel – High Climber will need to band together to steal back the crown and defeat the evil vizier.
Illumineers’ Quest: Palace Heist, a new co-op experience-in-a-box, pits players against Jafar – who has reforged the broken Hexwell Crown and transformed into the Supreme Sorcerer of Lorcana. It’s now up to Illumineers to sneak into Jafar’s stronghold and steal back the Reforged Crown to recapture this source of power and stop Jafar from becoming all-powerful in a game of keep-away. Players can either go after the Crown alone or team up with a friend – the two player decks included in this new experience are designed with characters, items, and more that will help them on their daring quest.
The Disney Lorcana TCG set Reign of Jafar will include two single-player decks featuring combinations of Ruby/Steel or Amber/Amethyst (AU$29.99 / NZ$32.99), booster packs of additional cards (AU$9.99 / NZ$10.99), Illumineer’s Trove (AU$99.99 / NZ$109.99) and Illumineer’s Quest: Palace Heist (AU$99.99 / NZ$109.99).
New Disney Lorcana TCG accessories include two playmats featuring Rescue Rangers Away!
and Hades – Double Dealer. New card sleeves and deck boxes feature Mickey Mouse – Wayward Sorcerer and Tinker Bell – Giant Fairy (Enchanted art).
