Aspera Mobile launches new dual-SIM 4G Jazz 2 smartphone for just $99

In a move that, yet again, re-defines the affordable smartphone landscape Aspera Mobile has launched the successor to its incredibly popular Jazz smartphone – the new dual-SIM, 4G Android Jazz 2 for just $99.

Aspera Mobile MD Allan Robertson explained, “We launched the original Jazz in early 2018. It was a 3G phone with a 5-inch screen, only cost $99 and was immediately popular with budget conscious younger and mature users wanting a simple smartphone without having to break the bank. The Jazz 2 takes this offering to the next level with dual-SIM and 4G functionality but still only costing $99 making it the best value 4G smartphone on the market.”

Aspera has made its name in the market with a huge commitment to customer service and reliable, low cost phones something Robertson is keen to stress.

He continued, “Not everyone has thousands to spend on high-end smartphones and to be honest not everyone has to. More and more customers have been questioning us about when the 3G networks will close, so with the Jazz 2 we wanted to provide the best value 4G package we could with the latest version of Android at this low price point.”

Having had tens of thousands of customer service interactions via their Sydney call centre Robertson believes Aspera Mobile has a very good idea of what the cost-conscious market was looking for in the Jazz 2.

He continued, “Consumers clearly told us they wanted to go from 3G to 4G to stay current and to increase the on-board memory so they don’t run out of storage space. So we did both by upgrading the technology and increasing the on board memory to 16GB. You also have the ability to expand the storage with a micro-SD card for further capacity. We also customised the device with dual 4G SIM cards as this functionality is in high demand and not readily available on most handsets sold by the mobile carriers.”

The Jazz 2’s dual 4G SIM cards allow flexibility for users who can now can simply and easily access the best pricing plans available in the market from different carriers and have two numbers in one device – ideal for personal and work use. There are more benefits too as when Jazz 2 users travel overseas they can activate a local SIM card to save on usage costs whilst keeping their Australian SIM card active to receive calls and texts from home.

The Jazz 2 also features a 5 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front camera, is unlocked and works on all Australian 4G and 3G networks. It comes loaded with Android 9 Go so users get immediate and easy access to GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot and all the regular services consumers expect from any Android device.

Other key features of the Jazz 2 include a 4.95 inch screen and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, contains 1GB of RAM and uses a 1900mAh battery.Allan Robertson concluded, “The Jazz 2 meets all the requirements of the cost conscious buyer and user in a 4G dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android and has all the regular features you would wish for. In truth, most other lower-priced smartphones simply do not have this all-inclusive set of features for $99. The Jazz 2 also builds on our reputation for providing affordable mobile phones without having to compromise on functionality. Customers who buy the Jazz 2 do so safe in the knowledge that they get a solid, reliable and well featured device for a low price that’s backed up with local customer service from a manufacturer that actually cares about them and their experience.”

The new Jazz 2 smartphone is available now and can be purchased for just $99 at Big W, Harvey Norman, BP, Retravision and MobileCiti.
