AMD Announces New Ryzen Z1 Processors for Handheld PC Gaming Consoles

Today, AMD introduced the Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors, the ultimate high-performance processor for handheld PC gaming consoles.

With up to eight cores, 16 threads and 24MB of Cache, Ryzen Z1 Series processors offer industry-leading gaming experiences and uncompromising battery life with the proven efficiency of the “Zen 4” architecture. Further, with built-in AMD RDNA 3 architecture-based graphics, gamers have the power to play today’s demanding games at high frame rates with crisp visuals.

AMD Ryzen Z1 processors will be available first in the Asus ROG Ally. More information about availability and pricing will be announced by Asus on May 11. Learn more about the Ryzen Z1 Series here.
