Amazon introduces eero to Australia

Amazon today introduced the first eero product to Australia. The eero mesh Wi-Fi system offers simple, reliable Wi-Fi for streaming, gaming, and working from home. eero is a mesh Wi-Fi system that replaces your existing Wi-Fi router and extends Wi-Fi coverage seamlessly throughout your home. A single eero plugs directly into your modem, while additional eero devices extend your network’s range wirelessly or via Ethernet connections.

“Our mission at eero is to make the technology in homes just work,” said Nick Weaver, co-founder and CEO of eero. “We’re thrilled we can now deliver this experience to customers in Australia who are seeking fast, reliable Wi-Fi that they never need to think about again.”

Setup Made Simple

Using the in-app instructions, setting up your eero system takes just minutes. Simply unplug your old router, plug in your eero, sign in to the app, and you’re ready to go—no expert installation required. eero’s sleek, compact design also blends in with any décor. And once your new eero is up and running, you can easily set up and manage your connected smart home devices.

Wi-Fi That Works for You

Use the eero app to manage your network, pause the internet, share your network with friends or guests, and more—whether you’re at home or on-the-go. A three-pack of the all-new eero should cover up to 460 square metres. eero devices use TrueMesh technology to intelligently route traffic to avoid the trifecta of Wi-Fi frustrations: congestion, buffering, and drop-offs.

Safe and Secure— Wi-Fi You Can Trust

Customer trust is our number one priority. We collect minimal network diagnostic information that is used only to improve the performance, stability, and reliability of our products and services, and to provide world-class customer support. eero’s network security is constantly working in the background to keep your system safe and secure. Traditional routers require you to proactively search for, download, and install security updates. With eero, automatic software updates provide the latest security patches, bug fixes, and feature upgrades for your eero system without you lifting a finger. Plus, eero now supports Apple HomeKit. Customers can add their eero devices to the Apple HomeKit app to bring even more protection to their HomeKit accessories.

Pricing & Availability

The eero mesh Wi-Fi system is available for pre-orders on amazon.com.au from today for $199 for a one-pack, and $429 for a three-pack at https://amazon.com.au/eero. The devices will ship to customers from June 24. Customers who pre-order their eero device will also be eligible to claim a free Echo device until June 23*.
