In Akimbot, you will play as Exe, an outlaw robot with his unexpected sidekick, Shipset, as you blast your way through armies of robots, control spaceships and forge your own path on a mission to save the universe from impending doom! Set in a sci-fi world where only robots exist, travel the galaxy and experience non-stop robot mayhem and explosive action!
Players can start their mission to save the universe in the new demo for Akimbot, during Steam Next Fest from 3am AEST on 11th June. In the demo, players’ journey will begin the way many great stories do – with a prison break. Players will need to gear up for robot mayhem, action and adventure as they play through Akimbot’s first level set in Data Bay. It will allow players to get into the nuts and bolts of the game, as they traverse through the environment, join the Data Bay locals for a dance party, complete a boss battle and test out Akimbot’s unique weapon wheel.
