Against the Storm PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions are Out Now!
Hooded Horse is excited to share that the best-selling, award-winning dark fantasy roguelite city-builder Against the Storm is now available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, thanks to game porting veterans QLOC. It’s even compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2!

A new wave of viceroys can experience this popular city builder and attempt to rebuild civilisation in the face of apocalyptic rains. Lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, harpies, and more to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilisation’s last survivors. The UI has been completely overhauled for consoles, ensuring that newcomers have a smooth experience while fulfilling their duty to the Scorched Queen.
The Frog-tastic first expansion, Keepers of the Stone, is also included in physical versions of the game, which introduces a new species, two new biomes, and a selection of new buildings, orders, risks, and opportunities for any Viceroy up for the challenge.
Against the Storm is localised from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese.
