Wargaming Celebrates Lunar New Year with Lucky 88 Raffle and Lunar New Year 2018 Tournament
Lunar New Year Activities an Asia-Pacific Exclusive
February 12, 2018 — To celebrate Lunar New Year, World of Tanks is hosting a ‘Lucky 88’ Raffle, Lunar New Year 2018 Tournament and special events, offers and giveaways. The Lunar New Year activities is exclusive to World of Tanks PC players across Asia-Pacific only.
A special time for Chinese speaking communities, Lunar New Year is a time for friends and families to gather, feast on special dishes and gift cash in traditional red envelopes.
Alexander de Giorgio, World of Tanks Asia-Pacific Regional Publishing Director, says Lunar New Year is a special holiday period for Chinese speaking players across the region. “We know our players will be gathering with their families and wanted to provide an opportunity for them to play games together and win prizes during this festive season.
“Exclusive to Asia-Pacific, we are offering a range of Lunar New Year-themed activities and offers, such as the Lucky 88 Raffle, Lunar New Year 2018 Tournament, in-game discounts, premium shop special offers and special battle missions,” said Alexander.
The ‘Lucky 88’ Raffle, will take place from February 16th to February 23rd and rewards players with raffle tickets (tokens). The more missions that players participate in, the higher the chance of winning prizes such as Chinese premium tanks, the type 59 and type 62.
Alongside the ‘Lucky 88’ Raffle, tankers can also participate in the Lunar New Year 2018 Tournament. Registration period for the Tournament will take place from 5th February to 16th February 23.00 AEDT. Match day will be on February 19TH at 1.00 AEDT.
