LASER makes old speakers new again with $99 Wireless Wi-Fi Adaptor

Sydney, 9 August, 2016: LASER, the Australian-owned electronics company with a focus on affordable, innovative technology, has today launched its Wireless Wi-Fi Adaptor, an easy to use device that will transform older speakers into a 21st century Wi-Fi enabled multi-room audio solution, without the cost of overhauling an existing Hi-Fi system.

Weighing just 105 grams, the LASER Wireless Wi-Fi Adaptor is designed to be non-intrusive and discrete, connects via the auxiliary port (AUX) and features a built-in Qualcomm AllPlay chip. The AllPlay smart media platform can connect across a variety of different brands with dual band WiFi to connect more speakers with less interference and higher sound quality. The Wireless WiFi Adaptor is able to connect to a maximum of 10 AllPlay speakers at the same time, with no additional hub or hardware required.

Music can be accessed via the free Qualcomm Allplay app on any smart device. Users can stream music wirelessly for immediate access to featured streaming app services such as Spotify and AllPlay Radio, Internet Radio or music from a users’ own library.  Play the same song or different songs on different speakers and control volume, for perfect entertaining or individual listening.
