Aussie gamers and sports legends prepare for battle in the ultimate virtual-to-reality showdown

In an Australian LIVE TV First, 16 Aussie Gamers, Celebrities and Sport Legends will prepare for the ultimate virtual-to-reality battle of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 15 ULTIMATE TEAM on PlayStation®4, broadcast LIVE on FOX SPORTS from Federation Square, Melbourne, on Wednesday April 29.

The FOX FANS LEAGUE finalists include:

  • All nine winners of the FOX FANS LEAGUE qualifying heats held at Westfield nationally, with each PlayStation 4 champion representing their favourite Hyundai A-League club at the history-making grand final
  • A number of famous faces and have secured wildcard spots to make up a field of 16 competitors and will face off against the local champions from each heat
  • The celebrities and sport legends include: Gold Coast SUNS Captain, Gary Ablett, and Collingwood Football Club Captain, Scott Pendlebury, Channel [V] Presenter Danny Clayton, Penrith Panthers five-eighth Jamie Soward, and Australian EA SPORTS™ FIFA identity, Sam Mort

One further finalist will be announced next week comprising:

  • PlayStation 4 National Premier League Wildcard spot will be determined the day prior, on Tuesday April 28, in qualifying event to be held consisting of finalists from national grassroots clubs at Gosh’s Paddock in Melbourne
