Sesame Street Magic Comes to Geelong: Elmo’s Circus Dream Under the Big Top
This winter, the magic of Sesame Street is coming to life in a way Geelong families have never seen before. Elmo’s Circus Dream has officially set up its Big Top at the Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, promising a spectacular blend of iconic characters and world-class circus artistry.
Running from 26 June through to 2 August 2026, this six-week engagement offers a unique opportunity for local fans to see Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover, and the rest of the gang in a brand-new, Australian-exclusive production.
Developed in collaboration with the creators of Sesame Street and featuring original voice recordings from New York, the show follows Elmo as a bedtime story transports him into a whimsical circus world. It’s an adventure designed to celebrate themes of friendship, courage, and the power of believing in yourself.
While the heart of the production remains true to the beloved series, Circus Royale has dialled up the excitement. Audiences can expect:
