OPPO Reno16 Series: Your New Content Sidekick 

OPPO today announced the Reno16 Series, including the Reno16 Pro and Reno16 F, will launch in Australia on 23 July, starting from $999.

Designed for the next generation of mobile creators, the Reno16 Series brings together standout design, powerful cameras, expressive AI editing tools and long-lasting performance to make shooting, editing and sharing content feel effortless.

From ultra-wide selfies and high-resolution rear cameras to AI-powered creative tools like AI Remix Collage and Popout Collage 2.0, the Reno16 Series is built to help users capture more, create faster and make everyday moments more expressive.

Made to Stand Out

The Reno16 Series debuts OPPO’s new 3D Pop Planet Design, giving the range a bold visual identity made for users who want their phone to look as good as the content it captures.

The Pop White edition features OPPO’s industry-first HoloVerse 3D Technology, creating a floating, nebula-inspired effect that shifts with light and movement. Using millions of micro-lenses to reconstruct light in space, the design creates a sense of depth that appears to hover above the surface of the phone.

Reno16 Pro features a compact 6.32-inch display designed for comfortable one-handed use, paired with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame for a refined, premium finish. Reno16 F offers a larger 6.57-inch display for a more expansive viewing experience.

Whether it’s group selfies, outfit checks, travel recaps, festival content or everyday social posts, the Reno16 Series is designed to make content creation easier from front to back.

Both models feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, making it easier to fit more people, more background and more personality into every shot.

On the rear, both Reno16 Pro and Reno16 F feature a triple-camera system with a high-resolution main camera with OIS, a Telephoto Portrait Camera with approximately 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera for greater framing flexibility. Reno16 Pro further steps things up with a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, giving users the freedom to crop, reframe and edit while keeping rich detail intact.

Edit, Remix and Share with Ease

The Reno16 Series also introduces a new Create hub within the Photos app, bringing together AI-powered editing tools designed to make content more playful, personal and shareable.

AI Remix Collage allows users to combine photos and short videos into layered visual compositions with animated stickers, outlines and text. Users can also extract moving subjects from Motion Photos or videos and turn them into stickers, making it easier to create dynamic, social-ready edits directly from the phone.

Popout Collage 2.0 adds even more creative flexibility, allowing subjects to break out of the frame in multiple directions for bold, eye-catching visuals.

Smarter Everyday AI

Powered by ColorOS 16, the Reno16 Series also brings more personalised AI experiences to everyday use.

For the first time on a Reno Series device, the new AI Snap Key gives users quick access to AI Mind Space. With a simple press, users can capture and organise on-screen content, helping them save important details, revisit inspiration and keep track of information more easily.

The Reno16 Series also introduces AI Mind Pilot, which can coordinate multiple AI models to provide more relevant, context-aware assistance. By securely drawing from information saved in AI Mind Space, AI Mind Pilot can recommend the best AI model for different tasks or let users compare responses side by side.

The Reno16 Series is designed to keep pace with busy days, heavy content creation, mobile gaming, streaming and social browsing.

Reno16 Pro features a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC™ fast charging, while Reno16 F offers an even larger 6,500mAh battery for users who need extra endurance across travel, events and long days out.

Reno16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super Platform, with AI HyperBoost 3.0, enhanced cooling and support for up to 144Hz refresh rates in supported games. Reno16 F features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy Platform for reliable everyday performance.

The series also features AI LinkBoost 4.0 for more stable connectivity in crowded areas or weaker signal environments, helping reduce lag during gaming, streaming and video calls. For added peace of mind, both models feature IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust resistance.
