A JOURNEY BETWEEN TWO WORLDS BEGINS IN TALES OF ETERNIA REMASTERED THIS OCTOBER
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe today announced Tales of Eternia Remastered, the latest title in the Tales of Remastered Project. This beloved action RPG will launch on 16 October 2026 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Originally released as one of the most iconic entries in the Tales of series, Tales of Eternia Remastered invites players to experience an epic adventure set across two divided worlds, Inferia and Celestia. The story follows Reid Hershel and childhood friend Faran Oersted, whose lives change when they encounter a mysterious girl who speaks an unknown language. As they try to uncover her identity, they discover that a catastrophic event, the “Great Fall,” a looming collision between worlds is approaching, threatening the very existence of both.
This remastered edition delivers the same emotional storytelling and fast-paced gameplay that fans remember, enhanced with QoL improvements and graphics. Players will engage in dynamic combat through the Aggressive Linear Motion Battle System, chaining powerful Artes and coordinating with party members to overcome enemies in fast-paced 2D battles.

Tales of Eternia Remastered significantly enhances the gameplay experience with a wide range of improved quality-of-life features, including destination icons, the option to disable enemy encounters, and high-speed mode during auto-battle, making the journey smoother than ever for both newcomers and returning players. In addition, players can toggle graphics and sound settings to seamlessly switch between remastered graphics and the original graphics.
Tales of Eternia Remastered will launch on 16 October 2026 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. A physical edition will be released on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
