SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance Free Demo Available Now!
SEGA and Lizardcube are excited to reveal that a free consumer demo of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is available to download right now on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, ahead of the game’s full release on the 29th of August.
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is the all-new 2D action platformer created by Lizardcube, the team behind the hit brawler Streets of Rage 4, and follows the longtime series protagonist and master of the ninja arts, Joe Musashi, who sets off on an epic quest of revenge across a variety of stages and environments. With larger-than-life bosses, a deep combat system, and smooth, satisfying gameplay, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will have players attacking and reacting on the move – and then coming back for more.
In the free demo, players can explore the first stage of the game, Oboro Village, battling enemies and traversing platforming obstacles through stunning hand-drawn environments. Once you’ve conquered the stage, push your skills further by replaying it – aim for the highest score in Arcade Mode and uncover hidden paths. To provide players with a more exciting experience, the demo unlocks certain gameplay abilities that are normally obtained later in the full game.
Pre-orders for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance are available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Fans who pre-order the game will receive the Original Arcade Outfit and Fortune Hunter Amulet.
Fans who sign up for a SEGA Account, as well as those with existing SEGA Accounts, can link their preferred platform and claim the SEGA Blue Outfit for Joe when it goes live starting on the 26th of August, until the 29th of September 2025.
