Level up your Beyblades over the School Holidays (2025)

Thanks to Hasbro, we were given the opportunity to check out two fourth generation Beyblades and with the school holidays, it’s a match made in Beyblade X heaven.

Without further ado – Let it rip… to the Xtreme!

If you’re after a Beyblade that just won’t quit, the Arrow Wizard 4-80B is your go-to-blade.

Its blade, shaped like a poised bow and arrow, locks onto opponents with two hefty contact points that refuses to budge, while the four-sided 4-80 ratchet layer keeps the spin steady and strong. Add in the smooth Ball tip that hugs the stadium floor and you’ve got a top that edges along the Xtreme Line with almost zero recoil. Weighing in at around 41 grams (sounds better when you say it your best heavy weight presenter voice), it provides steadfast defence and marathon-length stamina, even if it’s not built for explosive attacks. It’s a great all-rounder!

Next up is the Sword Dran 3-60F. With its three-pointed blade, sculpted like a snarling dragon, it delivers bone-jarring impact with every strike. Paired with the low-profile 3-60 ratchet layer and the Flat tip that hugs the stadium floor, it tears along the Xtreme Line to send rivals flying. Weighing in at roughly 43 grams (again said in your best heavy weight presenter voice), its been designed for raw power, however when it loses it stamina, it also loses its power. Needless to say, it’s a great choice if you want to surprise your opponent with a heavy hitter – it’s basically the tank of Beyblade!

We also checked out these new Beyblades with the 2024 Beyblade X Beystadium Battle Arena that is affordable priced at just $20AUD. It’s basically a plastic Beystadium that does not require any assemble as you’re ready to battle immediately. Aesthetically it does look plastic-fantastic and is very green but it’s perfect for those quick games and is an awesome arena spare.

However the Beyblade fun doesn’t need to stop there. To take your Beyblading to the next level, the app transforms your phone into a mini stadium where your real-world tops leap to life in epic showdowns. Simply install the app, setup an account and then scan your Beyblade to challenge friends and enemies and is an enjoyable twist on this real-world game.
