In terms of design, the Ballistix Sport AT 32GB Kit DDR4-3000 UDIMM Gaming Memory scream gamer with its military-like (or superhero) appearance and colour scheme of black/yellow. The height of the RAM is 44mm which should suit a variety of cases and power supplies and it has a good size alumina heat spreader which disperses the heat well, particularly for overclocking.

Installation of the RAM was an easy process and within 5 minutes, we had the four modules installed into our motherboard which was automatically detected them once powered. The CPU that we tested this RAM was the Intel Core i5-8400 which is a decent component for gaming rigs.

At its default settings, the RAM nicely flew along at 3000Mhz, however by adjusting the settings, we managed to successfully push this to 3200Mhz which was very stable. So for every day use, gaming and apps, the overclocked RAM had no issues whatsoever.

Even though we were quite conservative in how far we pushed the Ballistix Sport AT 32GB Kit DDR4-3000 UDIMM Gaming Memory, with some additional tweaking, I’m guessing the speed could even be faster…
