Impulse Gamer (Impulsegamer) is Australia’s largest and oldest independent online review site which began in 2001 by co-founders Tory Favro and Andrew Bistak. Covering a wide area from entertainment to technology, Impulse Gamer expanded to the United States in 2004 with Edwin Millheim taking the role of US Editor and lead correspondent. Writer and Journalist Damien Straker also joined the team in 2012 to become the Film Editor who has brought a wealth of knowledge to the team. In 2016, Dana Folkard, the Mother of Dragons joined the team as our Comic Editor who is a true advocate for this medium and writes a mean comic review.
From industry news to reviews, Impulse Gamer also interviews key individuals across the globe from entertainment to technology and software. Impulse Gamer is “Not just Games” and features definitive reviews on both PC and Apple software, including a wide range of accessories plus hardware. Due to public feedback, Impulse Gamer recently started reviewing IMAX films and moved on to what some would call intellectual endeavours such as museum exhibitions or live shows such as The Lion King.
