Newton's Make Greeting Cards of Me

Ever wanted to make your own personalised greeting cards? Yes? Well, you are in luck with Manaccom's latest edition to their software range entitled "Newton's Make Greeting Cards of Me" which offers the user one of the easiest greeting card programs available on the market. It's almost as easy as:

1 - Choose a template
2 - Add your own text and graphics &
3 - Print or email to others!

The brains behind this software package is Newton, a teddy bear who is a reject from the Furry Fellows Toy Factory and fortunately for our loveable hero, he was rescued from the scrap heap by Mr. Fellows, the owner of the Furry Fellows Toy Factory. So what has Newton been up since being saved from the crap heap? That's simple, he has been creating "words of wisdom" for greeting cards and decided to create his own software package that lets user personalize their greeting cards for just about every occasion.

Features of Make Greeting Cards of Me:

  • Over 40 pre-designed Newton Bear card templates

  • 130 Newton Bear images

  • Picture and text frames can be rotated, stretched, resized, flipped and re-coloured. Text inside frames can be re-coloured and resized

  • Add your own text – names, birthdays, ages, special messages etc

  • Use the Supertext tool to create striking text effects such as distortion, shadows, fades, textures, outlines and more

  • Print on any standard paper size for a 2 sided postcard, or choose from a range of printing options when you create a standard 4 page greeting card

  • Send via email, together with sounds and verses!

  • Includes name and address database option

  • Digital camera compatible

  • Includes a mix of traditional and funny verses

  • Benefits of Make Greeting Cards of Me:

  • Choose from a fantastic variety of ready-made Newton Bear cards that are easy to personalise.

  • User-friendly, and no complicated functions to learn. Large, colourful icons guide you through the design process.

  • Fun for all ages and skill levels.

  • Bulk mailing is easy with the name and address database.

  • Quick and easy to add your own photos and images from your digital camera or saved folders.

The installation of "Newton's Make Greeting Cards of Me" was a breeze and it simply auto-installed once the CD was detected and after the installation was complete, we were greeted to an extremely user friendly interface with basic icons on the top such as load, save, print with three window panes below that included a design area, font selection and the main greeting card layout.

To create a greeting card, the user just selects the template they wish to create, select any extras graphics that they wish to incorporate and presto, you have a greeting card ready. However for those that are not artistically inclined, the program features hundreds of different templates that they can use from birthdays to weddings and even get well cards. Everything... well, almost!

You can even add pictures from your digital camera or even sound and music bites and once your greeting card is completed, you can either save it, e-mail it or print it to that special person for a unique and personalized greeting card. What really impressed me was the ease of use and just how simple it was to create a quality greeting card.

In conclusion, Newton's Make Greeting Cards of Me is a great program that kids of all ages, even adults will enjoy, especially those who are into designing. Not just your basic greeting card creator, this program even features a database to keep your names for the next time you need that special card. Great stuff!
