As with all the Scholastic children range
software, the installation was a breeze on our test machine that simple auto-installed once
the CD was detected by the computer which is great for parents who are somewhat
computer illiterate. The beauty of many Scholastic titles is that the
programs generally need a minimalist computer
setup and with this incarnation of Clifford the Big Red Dog, it once
again follows the basic attributes of Windows 95 as a bare minimum.
Once again our software was tested with our
4-year old volunteer Ella who simply could not get enough of this
education software package. Although Ella is familiar with other
Scholastic software, she picked up the controls and interface of this
incarnation in just one sitting that had her learning, singing and even
dancing. Needless to say, many many hours of enjoyment.
The activities in the game are extremely
varied that ensure children will not lose interest in this title and
games from assisting Clifford to escape his way out of the cave through
mathematics or matching up sounds, this program is definitely a must
have for those parents that wish to give their children that pre-school
edge.

has been professional designed with speech that is clear and fluent for
those early learners.
