I loved this series and this last disc wraps it all up nicely in a last hoorah that ties up any loose ends as Jean and Lionel reminisce over all the good times and bad in the last thirty eight years. I thought that this was exceptionally well done and a fitting end to this great show.

Fans of the series would know as do I that what keeps us hooked on this is the human element that was so delightfully portrayed by Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer. They suited each other perfectly and the vibe that I felt was of one of mutual respect and the ability to get the best out of each other's performance.

There are many shows out there and I couldn't pretend that it's not often that a series like this comes around, however I could say that during it's time there were not many British shows hitting our shores that had what As Time Goes By did. And certainly nothing on the tele depicting as believable  and genuine a relationship.

I recommend all viewers to this series and naturally enough those that came before it as if you were to start watching this series at the end you would be wasting your time! It's a great series and this DVD does a splendid job of wrapping it all up nicely.

Audio and visual present nothing at all to complain about. It's all good over here guv'nor.
