The Devil Came on Horseback

The Devil Came on Horseback is a gripping and ultimately quite a depressing tale of the atrocities happening in Sudan. Masterfully directed by Annie Sundberg & Ricki Stern, The Devil Came on Horseback revolves around Brian Steidle, a former marine who has become an observer for the African Union of this crumbling nation.

During his time as an observer, he witnessed the systematic genocide of Sudan's black African citizens in Darfus by the Arab controlled government. To compound the situation, the government turned a blind eye to the acts of murder, torture and rape against these tribes and villages.

This movie follows Steidle's journey from observer to activist that uses actual photos and footage from his time in this cancerous and humanitarian disaster. The images are quite overwhelming and depressing which ignites an anger inside you as the world just watched these atrocities occur across Sudan.

Presented in 16:9 widescreen with Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, the video and audio quality is exceptional which truly draws you into this amazing world of hours where man watches others die.

Gripping!
