Haven Season 3

Welcome back to Season 3 of Haven and former FBI Agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) who uncovers more of the supernatural secrets of the coastal town of Haven, Maine. As the inhabitants of Maine are inflicted by a variety of supernatural curses called "troubles", Audrey soon realises that there's something besides coincidence that has drawn her to the town which is one of the themes of Season 3.

As Audrey is now part of the Haven Police Department, her partner is Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant) who together have this great onscreen relationship and really assist in immersing you into this well written sci-fi drama. The current season of Haven continues from the cliff-hanger of Season 2 where Audrey was kidnapped and with Duke, the towns smuggler discovering that his is family's heritage was to kill people in Haven affected by the troubles. The first episode continues from the abduction of Audrey as Nathan and Duke form an uneasy alliance.

The episodes of Season 3 are quite diverse from rampaging barbarians, haunted houses, time travel and a brilliant cliff clinger that holds the very life and fate of Audrey in the balance. Compared to the previous seasons of Haven, season 3 feels much more fleshed out in terms of characterisation with their destines more defined.

Season 3 also contains all 13 episodes plus a 40 minute documentary about the Haunting Truth about Haven. With the lack of sci-fi on TV now, it's refreshing that Haven continues to fill this genre nicely that is not only carefully written but contains some of the best sci-fi characters to grace the small screen.
