Doctor Who - Revelation of the Daleks

When The Doctor and Peri arrive on Necros
to attend the funeral of an old friend of the Doctor, Prof Stengos. The
cryogenic facility of Tranquil Repose is where people with fatal
diseases are stored in suspended animation until a cure for their
condition has been found. However, Tranquil Repose is not all that it
seems and an attempt is made on the Doctor’s life.

And when the Doctor comes face to face with
the Great Healer, he discovers that he is old adversary Davros, the
creator of the Daleks. Davros is rebuilding his Dalek army in secret to
launch a new attack on their enemy - the Movellans. He is also selling
bodies to a food processing plant to be fed to the starving masses.

Probably one of the scariest and goriest
Doctor Who episodes around, Revelation of the Daleks was probably a
landmark of its kind and once again I would recommend this DVD to any
Doctor Who fan out there, old and new alike because there's something in
this episode for everyone. With superb acting from two Doctor Whos and
great supporting casts and cheesy BBC special effects, this is what
		purists dream about!

The video quality for this disc is above average when compared to the
early Doctor Who episodes but that's not surprising as the episodes get
newer and newer as they are slowly being released. With that said, the
sound quality is also great and sounds phenomenal through the right
		surround sound system.

The disc also contains some great Special
features that contains commentary by Eric Saward, Terry Molloy, Nicola
Bryant and Graeme Harper, CGI effects, Documentary - Revelation Exhumed,
studio featurette, production notes and a photo gallery. Check it out! |
