Bullet in the Face

		The TV
series Bullet in the Face is one of those series that you will
either hate or love and fortunately, I was in the
later category. This black comedy crime series revolves around Gunter
Voger (Max Williams), a murderous German sociopath who required a
face transplant after being betrayed by his pregnant girlfriend Martine
(Kate Kelton) during a botched robbery thanks to crime lord Tannhäuser
(Eddie Izzard). As penance for his series of crimes, Gunter awakens in
hospital to discover that his new face is actually one of the police
officers he shot during the heist. As a result, he is forced to work
undercover for Commissioner Eva Braden (Jessica Steen) and rigid police
partner Lieutenant Hagerman (Neil Napier) who happens to be the partner
that Gunter killed.  The commissioner makes it clear what Gunter needs
to do and that is to clean up the streets of Bruteville which is
something like the crime riddled city of Sin City or Gotham
		City from Batman.

		As the
police are losing the hold of the city, she believes that fighting evil
with evil is the only answer. Needless to say, the end results is a
vicious comedy series that is as black as black can be, thanks to series
creator Alan Spencer (Sledge Hammer) whose humour really creates this
dark and quite engaging series. To compliment this crime comedy, Eddie
Izzard and Eric Roberts lend their talents to this over the top series
by being just as over the top as is the convoluted story. Just be warned
that Bullet in the Face is not for the feint hearted which
includes violence, sex and corruption which is oozing from the veins of
the city of Bruteville. Max Williams is of course the star of Bullet
in the Face and without him, this show would pale in comparison.
From an outrageous battle between a pregnant woman and a post-op
transgendered woman to someone being shot in the head while in the
middle of a sex act, Bullet in the Face is really f@@ked up but
it's like watching an accident waiting to happen, you just can't look
away! Wow... what a f@@ked up but enjoyable series! I will probably be
		committed for enjoying this series!
