Christmas Comes Early To PlayStation®Plus with a new Collection of Blockbuster Titles

PlayStation®Plus Celebrates the Festive Season with a Stellar Collection of Games Available to Subscribers Throughout December Including Batman: Arkham City

SYDNEY, 29th November 2012 – Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCE Aust.) has today announced the exciting December line-up for PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus) subscribers including the highly anticipated sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, available from the 5th December.  Also announced today is a selection of great new titles for PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) coming to PS Plus.  PS Plus Users will be able to download blockbuster titles along with other hot releases, directly from their PlayStation®3 (PS3) and PS Vita system.

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.

Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, the riveting sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

Other PS3 titles available to PS Plus subscribers from December 5th include the stunning third person shooter Vanquish from developer Platinum Games and publisher SEGA and critically acclaimed puzzle-platformer LIMBO. For subscribers who have yet to experience outrageous first person-shooter Bulletstorm and Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition these titles are still available as part of the PS Plus Instant Game Collection.

Now PS Plus is available on PS Vita there are great titles available for fans of gaming on the go. In December, members will have access to a selection of PS Vita titles including Knytt Underground, the sequel to the massively popular Knytt and Knytt Stories from Ripstone Games.

PS Plus not only guarantees members access to a  constant library of 14 games and at least five new games a month, which means over 65 games a year for PS3 and PS Vita, it also guarantees gamers have access to great PlayStation®Store discounts. PS Plus subscribers can look forward to great savings exclusively available to them on titles including Grand Theft Auto IV Complete Edition, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, Jet Set Radio, Saints Row®: The Third Full Package and Rayman Origins (PS3 and PS VITA) from the end of this month.

PS Plus is now available on PS Vita, extending the service to two platforms for a single price of AUD$69.95 for a one-year subscription or AUD$19.95 for a 90 day subscription will give users the same fantastic features including exclusive access, special features and huge discounts.
