The Sudoku Challenge!

Well this is my first bite of the craze that is sweeping the world and yes it drove me batty! Sudoku is a numbers game that seems fairly straight forward however is a challenging game that will really get you going.

It all seems so simple! You’ve got cells and columns that you have to make sure contain the numbers 1 through 9. There are numbers already in place to help you but don’t make the assumption that this is easy, nosiree! Many was the time that I thought I had the puzzle figured only to find that I was bitterly wrong!

For those of you in the same dilemma as me, don’t worry you don’t need to have a degree in rocket science to do these puzzles. There is not really maths involved. It’s purely that they use numbers to make it easier for placement. The numbers could as easily be symbols really.

The term Sudoku means number allotment or placement as it is known in the United States. There are over 10,000 puzzles on this edition and no I sure as heck did not check them all out, I’ve done about 20 so far and found them a staggering amount of time consuming fun.

The cool thing about this title is that it allows you to print the puzzles out so you can play them when you don’t have access to a computer, a great way to play while you are on the bus, tram or train on your way to work. People are not backward in coming forward when they realise you are playing and then want to help.

I recommend this game highly. For ten bucks you will not get better value anywhere as far as I am concerned. Sudoku is fun, entertaining and a great mind exercise in logic for the whole family. If you can count to 9 without repeating a number then you can play this game.

Go get it.
