Hi my names Sapphira.
I've been a model since 2003. I've appeared
in lads mags FHM, Loaded, Front, Zoo etc here in the UK
and been on the front cover of PlayStation Magazine and
PC Format. More recently I've been working with Monster
Energy Europe doing a few calendar shoots and posters
with them and travelling to international Sporting
events like Moto GP Jerez in Spain and Monaco.
What made you get into modeling?
It wasn't anything I'd ever dreamed of doing as I always
dreamed of being a Biologist or a Wildlife presenter
like David Attenborough (he is a hero of mine! - I
actually queued up once to have my book signed by him LOL) My
brother was always saying I should be a model. So when I
came back from working in Gran Canaria as a holiday rep,
I sent my beach photos in to International Model
Management - I didn't think anything would come of it but
they invited me in and signed me the day before my 23rd
birthday - I was shocked! but super excited about what
was come!
What do you enjoy about modeling?
The randomness!! You never know what your doing from one
week to the next! The travelling... I've been to the EA
Studios in Vancouver to be put into the Need for Speed

I've trained to box
Twice in Tennerife for a TV show, I've done shoot's in
Ibitza and Gran Canaria, been all over Europe working as
a Grid Girl for various sporting events F1, Moto GP etc.
I have been to Los Cabos in Mexico for a shoot for the
Hilton Hotels whilst there I spent a day walking along
the most stunning beach in the world thinking about how
lucky I was :)
Worst part of modeling?
Well its not forever and I guess like an Actor you are
not working all the time so you can get bored, which is
why you should find a hobby or a subject to study, I
went back to college part time and trained as Beauty
Therapist so I am now fully qualified and I also work as
a make up artist on shoots :) My website for my work as

In 2007, you were part of
Zoo's 20 Sexiest British Model shoot... although the end
results looks amazing, was this a difficult shoot?

The Zoo 20 hottest models
was a fantastic shoot it was such a laugh but a really
long day. The studio was buzzing with loads of models
and great makeup artists.. We were not naked, we all had
on flesh coloured thongs which were airbrushed out later
on.
We did a few different shots making different shapes
with our bodies we made up a map of Great Britain - Then
we spelt out the word Zoo and did a few other shapes
then lastly there is the shoot of us all sitting
together with me in the middle. That last shot became a
cult poster sold in all HMV and Virgin record stores
internationally... It often pops up in the background of
TV shows as well..
What
were your thoughts on the final pictures?
Unfortunately for me I
absolutely hated that last shoot!!! I've always thought
I looked like a rabbit in headlights!! Back then I was
still learning how to pose properly and I used to do
this weird this with thing my eyes to try and make them
look bigger which just made me look like an escaped
mental patient! Haha so I learned after that how to make
your self look sleepy like you just rolled out of bed
instead of startled... That just proves how difficult
modeling actually is models have to learn so many
different tricks like looking above the camera rather
than directly in it always makes your eyes look bigger,
how to stand and pose etc some people just have it
naturally but for others like me it only comes with time
and experience :)

Do you have any tattoos? If so where and what of?
I do, but its a secret :)
What's your best asset?
I get most compliments on my blue eyes people sometimes
accuse me of wearing contact lenses and then my boobs,
people never believe they are real but they are lol
Worst?
My frizzy Irish hair and fiery temper
What are three technological things you cannot
I've
without?
I'm gonna be boring and say my Acer Laptop, My Blackberry
Touch and my IPod I cant run without my Dance music
and I love running :)
How do you relax?
Serious
relaxation requires some aromatherapy body oil, some
candle light and someone to play with otherwise I just
watch Eastender with a cuppa Tea.
Top three things that annoy you?
Bad body odour you get this a lot in London on the Tube
in summer.. they should give out free deodorant.
People
that are always smugly on time or early for everything.
Making a
cup of Tea only to open the fridge and find no milk.
Top three things that make you happy?
Cuddles, High
heel shoes (cos I'm only 5'5),
Beautiful Island views of the Sea all around me makes me
feel so alive and free. There is such a place on the
walkway to Amadores beach from the harbour in Gran
Canaria - you only get such views on a proper Island.
What is
your favourite video game?
People
are often surprised that I used to play a lot of
games.. I have two brothers and no sisters so that must
be why!.. I'm very good at GT but I prefer my RPG's I
loved Metal Gear Solid I used to sit up till 5am playing
that one. Final Fantasy 7 will always have a special
place in my heart, If I was a character in a Video game
I would definitely be Aeris as we look alike, we both
overcame a tough start and are both always trying to
cheer everybody up with silliness. Oh I have to mention
Zelda as well of course - legendary.
If you
could go back in time and visit yourself at age 10, what
would you say?
Hang in
there cos things are gonna get better like you would not
believe...
On the
other hand, if you could go into the future and visit
yourself 80, what would you ask?

All my
ex's look like extras from the Godfather..
Italian/Spanish/Greek? Brown eyes? I'm sold.
What is your favorite movie?
The
Godfather, Goodfellas, HEAT, Scarface... basically
anything gangster with Mediterranean looking guys in it
lol
Dance
music I like upbeat happy stuff.. and a little bit of
RnB I'm loving Nicki Monaj's Superbase at the moment

need to ask> Mediterranean.. yummy pasta and olives!
Favourite Colour?
Baby
Pink! I would like a baby pink Ferrari with eyelashes on
(yes you can buy eyelashes for your car!)
Favourite TV Show?
Eastenders, Harry Hill, The Wire, Sopranos
I love
cats because they are aloof, independent and moody
but if you hit the right spot they'll roll over and show
you there belly.. like me :)
