Lesya Venson

Tell us a bit about yourself...
I'm 23, a tad on the short side, and love playing sport (specifically soccer and basketball) and PS3 or N64 (I have both consoles but have more games for my N64 haha!) I love travelling and have recently returned to Aus from a 4 month stint in the UK. I started out as a Glamour Model last December (2012) and things have been really taking off!

What made you get into modeling?
It was actually through seeing someone I worked with get on the cover of a magazine. I thought that's so cool I want to do that! So she helped me out to get started and the rest is history.

What do you enjoy about modeling?
Being able to become a completely different person with each shoot. You have different makeup, hair, outfits and the images always come out looking so different to the last shoot you did. It's fun to be able to become someone completely different each time.

What about nude modeling?
I have no problem with nudity so it's no different for me modelling clothed or nude. Obviously I'm not going to run around the local shopping center naked, but I'm quite at home with my kit off.

Worst part of modeling?
Dieting. I'm terrible at it. I should probably be in a lot better shape than I am to do the job that I do but damn-it I just can't turn down a bacon and cheese bread roll.

Do you have any tattoos? If so where and what of?
I have 3. The first one I got when I was 18 says "Lead us not into temptation" on my left shoulder blade, the other two I got 2 years ago in Thailand, one down my right hip that says "It's all make believe" in Thai, and the number 12 in Roman Numerals (XII) on my left wrist - I was born on the 12th of the 12th.

What's your best asset?
My boobies! I don't think that requires further explanation. Who doesn't love boobies? That and my winning personality of course.

Probably the fact I'm nearsighted. It means either wearing contact lenses or two pairs of glasses when I go to see 3D movies and I like neither!

What are three technological things you cannot live without?
My laptop, which I am using right now. It's a HP with Beats Audio and I love it.
My PS3 (soon to be PS4 I suppose)
My Kobo (So many books in one little Ka-jiger!)

How do you relax?
Sleep. I love my sleep. But to just chill out generally I just lie in the sun and read or work my way through watching an entire series of something or other.

Top three things that annoy you?
- Public Transport - something ALWAYS goes wrong for me with buses and trains.
- People who don't give you thank you waves when you let them merge in traffic. I've flipped off many an ungrateful driver in my time.
- Bad coffee. It's not that difficult to make good coffee people, and it costs enough that it should be good every time without fail!

Top three things that make you happy?
My Cat - Duckie. She could almost out-cute all other cats on the internet
Sunshine - on my window, makes me happy, like I should be
Movie popcorn. So delicious it makes me smile with glee.

What is your favourite video game?
Of all time, it'd have to be a toss up between Zelda - Ocarina of Time and 007 - Golden Eye, both for N64.

If you could go back in time and visit yourself at age 10, what would you say?
Don't cut your hair into a bob. You're going to cry for days and piss everyone off.

On the other hand, if you could go into the future and visit yourself 80, what would you ask?
Did they ever make hover boards? and If so, did you get one?

Married, relationship or Single?
At the moment I'm single but not quite ready to mingle

What do you look for in a guy?
A sense of humour, spontaneity, and someone who can have fun out and about but also at home watching movies and eating pizza.

What is your favourite movie?
Toughy. I love LOTR. (Less so The Hobbit - PJ took too much poetic license with that one). I also love stupid stuff like Ace Ventura and Billy Madison, and awesome stuff like The Dark Knight and Star Wars. So I think my taste is too varied to pick a favourite.

Favourite Music?
Again, quite varied. Anything from Two Door Cinema Club, to Killswitch Engage, to the Beatles.

Favourite Food?
Have you ever had the Alfredo Pasta Sauce they have a sizzlers? That. That and Sizzlers cheese bread. Shame we don't have Sizzlers in Melbourne! :(

Favourite Colour?
Probably like an Aqua/Teal sort of colour. But I can be persuaded towards yellow.

Favourite TV Show?
I love Seinfeld, I think it was ingenious in it's day and I still find it hilarious.

Favourite Animal?
Otters. They're so. Freakin. Cute. They hold hands when they sleep! WTFOMGSOCUTE.

Your motto for life?
Take the opportunities presented to you whether you think you'll succeed or not, because failing isn't the end of the world and you might just find something you're awesome at.

Do you have a fan site like twitter, MySpace or facebook?
Facebook -
Twitter -
No MySpace! Not since 2005ish.

What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully get another degree. I'd like to go into publishing eventually I think once I get past the point of enjoying my modelling work.

Ten words or less for your fans?
Thank-you for the support, it means more than you know.

Lastly, any scoops for our readers?
I've got a few more magazine shoots coming up so keep an eye out on Facebook and Twitter for details!!
