My name is Laura, a 22 years old outgoing and down-to-earth Italian gal who happened to take a step into the modeling world three years ago - but who's still the girl next door… maybe a lil' hotter than your actual girl next door eheh! Just kidding: I'm rather a tomboy than a femme fatale.

What made you get into modeling?

Three years ago a friend of mine asked me to pose for a school project and this is how it started!

What do you enjoy about modeling?

I think that posing is liberating: you can be whatever you want, play roles just like on a stage and have fun being what you are not in the real life - and in a safe contest, because it's all fiction.

Also, modeling has been a therapy for me: I was a pretty insecure girl and noticing how good anyone can look if portrayed by the right photographer - the one who can capture with his lens your soul too - helped me a lot.

I've developed a self-consciousness, which I still want to work on: once I'll have more spare time, I'm gonna join a school of drama as I think that acting is a natural consequence of modeling.

Worst part of modeling?

Like any other job, when passions fades and modeling starts to be just a matter of money I think it's not worthy anymore. That's why I always try to keep up interesting collaborations based only on the will of creating something unique - I need to keep myself inspired in order to work well!

Also, dealing with uneducated people of the industry (other models, photographers, amateurs… anybody!) not recognizing your job's worth is frustrating.

Do you have any tattoos? If so where and what of?

Yep, I have four small tattoos: two starts at the end of my back, a tribal bat between my shoulders, a belladonna flower on my left ankle and a small lettering on my left wrist - it's an Heraclitus's aphorism in ancient Greek.

What's your best asset?

I'm curious, openminded, always thirsty for learning something new and looking for new challenging goals. Which makes my mindset rather cool, right? Eheh :)

Worst?

Despite how I can appear, I'm a very fragile and sensitive person - I can be touchy and even scarily paranoid! LOL

What are three technological things you cannot live without?

My laptop, my mobile and… I would say my mp3 but my ipod broke up long ago so I'm just living with it:(

How do you relax?

Reading a good book, taking a long bath or just sleeping few hours.

Top three things that annoy you?

First of all, being judged based on my appearance only. I understand that not judging anything or anyone is impossible - we all do it sooner or later - but making assumption about my character and lifestyle out of a Facebook status or a pictures it's just silly! C'mon!

Ignorance - I really can't stand people who don't care to fight against it and seem to be proud of it. Being genuine is a thing, being uneducated, rude and ignorant is another!

Third… hangovers. I hate 'em.

Top three things that make you happy?

Beer, a good book, being with the loved ones.

What is your favourite video game?

When I was younger, Dance Dance Revolution stole my heart! LOL

If you could go back in time and visit yourself at age 10, what would you say?

I would tell to my-younger-self to stay true to herself and believe more in her dreams.

'Cause the more you believe in them, the more likely they'll come true.

On the other hand, if you could go into the future and visit yourself 80, what would you ask?

I wouldn't ask anything, I'm all for surprises!

Married or Single?

In a relationship with an awesome guy.

What do you look for in a guy?

I've been blessed with the kind of man I was looking for and even more: my boyfriend is what

I call a total hot papa XD plus, it's an artist - a musician - with a very creative personality.

We have so much in common, which is great for any relationship: I've never believed that opposites attract, I prefer to share my life with someone like me.

What is your favorite movie?

Too many to make a list! >_<

Favourite Music?

Alternative kinds of music, from dark wave to punk rock, not forgetting gothic rock and some metal names.

I love going to live shows!

Favourite Food?

Here in Italy we have the best food in the world, not kidding! But I'm addicted to sushi too.

Favourite Colour?

Black. I'm a dark lady!

Favourite TV Show?

The news. Studying as a journalist I'm interested in how the different networks share the news.

Favourite Animal?

I'm starting to love dogs more and more.

Be yourself. Simple, hum?! I just can't stand fake people.
