It's been two years since you last visited Australia and gave Impulse Gamer, a candid interview of Stoya and the world around you. What are some of your new highlights since then?

Do you have any plans on visiting Australia again?

Well, I've been shot for and published in a couple of fashion magazines, which is kind of exciting. I made it back to Australia in late 2009 and got to pet a kangaroo AND a WALLABY, which was really exciting as you can tell by my use of capital letters. Wallabies are so adorable. Oh, and I had my picture taken holding a koala, but they make these terrifying noises and the koala grabbed my boob right when the camera went off and I was much happier with the wallabies.

What is the one country in the world that you would love to visit?

I still haven't been to South Africa and would love the chance to go there and explore. Also, I haven't done a public appearance there, in Australia, or England and there are a lot of really nice/awesome people who keep asking when I'm going to make it to those places to do a signing... *hint, hint*

Your next big movie for Digital Playground is TOP GUNS where according to the press release, you play an unbeatable "bitch" from the Navy with cohort Kayden Kross. What was it like playing the bad girl in this film?

I don't know that I was necessarily playing the bad girl... as you'll see once you have the opportunity to view the film, we're all just trying to do our jobs as well as we can with the use of every single resource at our disposal. There's plenty of bravura and posturing on both sides, as one would expect from successful women in what is still a very male dominated profession, but we're all playing multi-faceted people. Which, by the way, was pretty challenging for a porno.

What else can you tell us about TOP GUNS and why we should buy it?

Top Guns is an awesome, very well produced, funny spoof of the original idea with plenty of hot sex scenes thrown in. Check out the special fan site: http://topgunsxxx.com/

Any scoops as to what kind of scenes you have in the film?

I do a calculatedly slow scene with Mick Blue where I control him and his penis in order to get exactly what I want, and towards the end of the film all of the contract girls we had at the time gang up on one of the main characters and fuck him so hard he could barely handle it.

What was your favourite aspect of TOP GUNS?

The combat boots.

You get extremely close with your fellow stars at Digital Playground, do you guys ever hang out?

Most of my contract sisters are amazing women in different ways, but we all live in different cites and the job keeps us running around so much that hanging out doesn't happen unless it's on the set of one of our big movies or in the booth at AEE or one of the other large conventions.

You also released your very own fleshlight toys last year. How did they create this toy and is it accurate?

I can't tell you how they make the toy because I wouldn't want to give away any trade secrets. I have asked a few people who have experienced both my vagina and my Fleshlight, and they say the outside/orifice is very accurate, although the inside creates an experience that is as intense as sex without attempting to replicate it. What's the fan feedback on toy and how many do you own?

Everyone I've heard from loves it. I have a few of my own Fleshlights laying around for promo and props like in my "AAAAAH" video. I also have Riley's vagina and when Jesse's mouth is released (they melded it in January at AEE) I kind of want one to keep on the shelf next to my Best New Starlet awards.

Also, what's up with that cool YouTube clip with you having a blast with two Stoya Fleshlights?

Fleshlight wanted a short clip for a February/Valentine's month Fleshlight Girls promotion they're doing and I happened to have a friend who does video stuff for a living and owed me a favor. The only down side is now they want more episodes and I'm out of favors to pull with that guy :(

In the clip you said you're not a ventriloquist but you can do magic things with a penis? Care to elaborate?

What are your vices or bad habits?

I smoke cigarettes. There was an adorable woman outside the hotel this morning (she told me she's in town for her 50 year High School reunion) who said she was a reformed non-smoker. Love it.

Is twitter one of them? You seem to "tweet" an awful lot not that your 40,000+ follows are complaining.

I try to tweet eight times a week or so and then end up trying to reply to as many people as I can. There's a way to follow someone and only receive the posts that are not @replies, by the way.

Why do you like Twitter?

I use it as a way to stay updated on what my friends and the couple of writers/artists I really admire are up to. It's also a great way of interacting in a limited fashion. Before twitter people would sometimes send huge messages or emails that went on for paragraphs, and I really appreciate that so many people are interested in what I do and want to communicate with me, but I can respond to so many more people when we keep everything under 140 characters, you know?

Will you and FaceBook ever be friends? Or is there something between you and Mark Zuckerberg?

Fuck FaceBook. Also, fuck Mark Zuckerberg. Not in the literal sense of course.

Why is stoya.tumblr.com so damn cool?

Because I am awesome :) Actually, what makes it ultra nifty is the ease of content creation and management. Also, the way re-blogging is used on that site makes a post more like a book in a library than a newspaper, meaning that instead of being buried in newer content like would happen with older formats, the post is still circulating and being re-posted by others for new people to see.

You love books. What is your current book affair?

Right now I'm reading Henry Miller's Quiet Days in Clichy. I just finished re-reading Gary Jenning's 'Spangle' and Colum McCann's veeeerrry fictionalized biography of Nureyev titled 'Dancer'. Next on the list is a mystery novel that an acquaintance with very good taste in literature sent over, but it's waiting for me in New York so I'll have to be patient for another couple of days.

What made you enrol in an intensive improv comedy class?

As I said in my tumblr post about Improv 101 at UCB, it was suggested by a friend as something I might enjoy.

Will we see more comedy in your movies now?

That's up to Robby and Joone and will depend on what they write for me. Also, one of the things I learned in improv is that reality is funny. Like, starting with a silly joke might get a laugh but it isn't going to be as good as the laugh you'll get by playing things extremely real. My favorite instructor talked once about how he enjoys taking people through the emotional ringer, maybe going somewhere dark, and THEN getting them to laugh.

What's your personal favourite meal that you love to cook?

Delivery.
