Although the device is corded, it features
an adjustable cord length that when is not used, neatly fits underneath
the mouse so you won't have wireless receivers or batteries rolling
around your case.
Simply just plug the unit into a spare USB
port on either your PC or Mac and "voila", you are ready to go and
that's how simple the installation is. Software is however needed if you
wish to use all the features of the device.
Working on Windows Vista, the mouse was
exceptionally accurate, especially on our design programs such as Adobe
Photoshop and 3DMAX Studio. However where the unit does come into its
own is through its adjustable cord length that retracts, ensuring less
desktop clutter.
For designers or even gamers, a quick
download from Targus will allow you to custom program the scroll button
that allows for a variety of different options such as "back" on
Internet Explorer or even launch Internet Explorer. Quite a handy
function to have and match that with the tilt-wheel, it allows for a
wide range of flawless navigation options.
The cursor speed of the mouse can also be
modified through a variety of settings from 800 to 1600 DPI that is
ideal for those fiddle some designs which you may be working on. Just a
click of a button and you are changing between different DPI's.
Lastly, the most important feature of the

can be used by people with small to large hands without any issues.
