As one would expect, Wanted opens like a true Hollywood action blockbuster and begins with an assassination attempt through some stunning cinematography and brilliant "bullet time" effects. Wanted is based on Mark Millar’s graphic novel of the same name and at times seems like a video game through its over the top action and violence.

The story revolves around the nerdish Wesley (James McAvoy) who leads an extremely boring life and yearns for something more. His life soon takes a twist of unparalleled heights when he meets Fox (Angelina Jolie) who saves his life from an assassination attempt.

As the story progresses, Wesley learns that his father was just recently killed, although he believed that he died years ago. Taken to the fraternity, he learns that this is a fraternity of assassins who use fate's spinning wheel to figure out their next hit. Apparently, this will ensure that the balance of the world remains.

The Fraternity of Assassins is led by Sloan (Morgan Freeman), who begins to train Wesley into becoming an assassin. However as Sloan progresses, he learns a devastating secret about the fraternity and that of his father which will change his allegiances and his path for the future.

The movie is quite violent at times, however in a video game style that goes hand in hand with the special effects. The movie is not everyone's cup of tea, however if you enjoy the endless comic book based movies being created now, than Wanted may be your cup of tea. It features action, drama, romance and of course Angelina Jolie who really transforms into a vixen assassin.
