The Ten

"The Ten" is one of those quirky comedy movies that many people may have missed because it's not considered a "mainstream" movie. Created by the team behind Wet Hot American Summer, The Ten is a collection of short films based on the Bible's Ten Commandments which are thoroughly amusing and contain some of Hollywood's greats such as Jessica Alba and Winona Ryder who does a hilarious sexual act to a puppet.

The premise behind the story revolves around Jeff Reigert (Paul Rudd) who is having difficulties with his life such as theft to fidelity (his wife is played by Famke Jenson and his girlfriend is played by Jessica Alba) which are linked to the Bible's Ten Commandments.

The DVD is quite relaxed at times as it seems that all the actors are having a ball making this movie with some great scenes from Adam Brody (who plays a Mexican jumping from a plane without a parachute), Justin Theroux and Liev Schreiber with each "story" being quite entertaining as they make fun at modern life and the ups and downs that we all face.

Featuring great video and audio quality, The Ten also features some entertaining extras that makes this one of the best movies of 2008. In conclusion, if you are after a unique and interesting comedy movie, than The Ten is definitely that movie and is easy to follow and contains some of the best comedy of the year.
