The Prime Minister is Missing

I love a good mystery and obviously so does the director The Prime Minister is Missing. This fascinating documentary takes the viewer on a modern investigation of the disappearance of Prime Minister Harold Holt who allegedly "drowned" on a Victorian beach during 1967.

The people Australia were in shock from the news and considering that the Vietnam War was still strong, many hoped that he was safe and well.  Some say that foul play was involved, others have huge conspiracy theories, however the investigated technology and procedures at the time were quite limited and with new forensic evidence, a different interpretation is given on this great Australian mystery.

During the time of Holt, the police investigation were convinced that Prime Minister Harold Holt had accidentally drowned but with the Cold War paranoia growing, this fuelled wide rumors to other dark answers.

The Prime Minister is Missing explores the many theories and facts that gives the viewer new evidence into his disappearance and explores some of the secrets that he was involved in before his disappearance.

Although the documentary does not give any true concrete answers, it does explore a variety of scenarios that will make you think and without spoiling the documentary, it raises some strong political agendas of the time.

Gripping from start to finish!
